Ubisoft is planning several Assassin's Creed remakes

Ubisoft's future no doubt revolves around Assassin's Creed. We'll soon get to enjoy Shadows, and a while later Hexe, but there seems to be even more on the pipeline.

In an interview posted on the Ubisoft website, company CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that there are some remakes in the works.

"Firstly, players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we've created in the past and modernize them; there are worlds in some of our older Assassin's Creed games that are still extremely rich."

But that's not all, Guillemot has also promised "plenty of experience variety" when it comes to future installments in the franchise, all with the aim to release games on a more regular basis.

As a reminder, one of the remakes mentioned should be that of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which has been the protagonist of all kinds of rumors up until now.
