Elden Ring has reached almost 600,000 concurrent players on Steam following the launch of Shadow of the Erdtree

FromSoftware hit it big with the release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree this week. The number of players of the souls-like game has literally exploded on Steam.

According to SteamDB, the game reached a peak of 589,948 simultaneous users on Valve's platform. Two years ago, just three days after its launch, Elden Ring peaked at 953,426 concurrent players.

We're still a long way from the record, but a week ago, Elden Ring had "only" 174,000 players on Steam.
