Square Enix aims to offer a different experience with the third part of Final Fantasy VII Remake

Square Enix has chosen to expand the cult game Final Fantasy VII with a remake project across three separate games. Up until now, we knew little next to nothing about the third and final entry, but that's starting to change.

In a new episode of Inside Square Enix, Teruki Tenso revealed that he is thinking about how to give players more freedom, notably with an even more action-focused system. But that's not all: director Naoki Hamaguchi also spoke of his desire to offer fans a very different experience from the previous two installments, evolving Rebirth's open world formula.

In any case, we'll have to wait a few more years before we can discover the conclusion of this trilogy.
