Not all pre-orders for the Resident Evil 4 collector's edition will be fulfilled in the USA

In a memo relayed by Wario64 on Twitter, the GameStop chain (which owns Micromania-Zing in France) announced that it will not honor pre-orders for the Resident Evil 4 collector's edition in the United States. This decision applies only to customers who made their purchase in-store. A voucher or full refund will be offered to impacted players. Since the chain has not publicly commented on this matter, we do not know if the phenomenon will affect online pre-orders and/or other territories.
