Helldivers 2 has lost a large number of players on Steam since launch

Although it was the best launch ever for a Playstation game, with 12 million sales, Helldivers 2 seems to be running out of steam. Indeed, the latest figures from Valve's store show a drastic drop in the number of users.

On February 24, 2024, Helldivers 2 peaked at 458,709 concurrent players on Steam. Over the past 30 days, this has fallen to 166,305, representing a 64% drop. In February, the average number of players was 208,303, compared with 78,634 over the last 30 days.

However, the figures are really good still, and Helldivers 2 keeps boasting a large community.
