Arrowhead Game Studios (Helldivers 2) has a new CEO

Following the resounding success of Helldivers 2, Arrowhead Game Studios has decided to make a change to its organizational chart. Johan Pilestedt, who co-founded the studio in 2008, is no longer CEO.

He has been replaced by Shams Jorjani, former Business Director of Paradox Interactive. It should be noted that Pilestedt is not leaving the company, as he will be focusing on his role as Creative Director. Pilestedt says he took this decision because it's no easy task to run a 120-strong company while overseeing the development of future projects, and he prefers to concentrate on creative endevours and delegate the rest to someone else.

In a short statement, Shams Jorjani announced that he wanted to provide a solid structure that would allow Johan Pilestedt to create "more Helldivers".
