Resident Evil 9 will take place on an island inspired by Singapore

Info about Resident Evil 9 has started to leak. Once again, insider Dusk Golem has spoken out on X.com, and this time he is talking about where the story of the ninth entry will take place.

Resident Evil 9 appears to be based in a rural town on an island off the coast of Southeast Asia, being inspired mainly by Singapore. Remember that it seems the game is going open world. Of course, none of this is official yet, and as such, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

The game could be out as early as January 2025.
