Some gamers claim to have been reimbursed using the "false advertaising" argument following Stellar Blade "censorship"
, by Thibaut
As was to be expected, Stellar Blade release hasn't gone by without controversy making the headlines. Indeed, an outfit worn by the game's heroine appears to have been slightly censored, giving rise to a petition to denounce it.
This has collected some 47,000 signatures, forcing the title's director to speak out. He simply explained that the current look of the costume was what the devs were aiming for in the first place. The previous one wasn't in the cards.
Despite these, some users claim to have demanded and received a refund from PlayStation, pointing to the alleged "false advertising" surrounding Stellar Blade. SHIFT UP studio had previously declared that there would be no censorship at all for the game.
Finally, and to end on a more positive note, analyst Zuby_Tech said on X.com that the game probably exceeded one million sales in its first 24 hours on the market.
