There could be another Resident Evil before the ninth entry

It's been almost three years after the release of the eight game, so Resident Evil 9 could very well be released soon. Previously, insider Dusk Golem reported that Capcom was planning an announcement this year and a 2025 launch.

However, he states now that the game could have been delayed internally. But that's no all, there could be yet another Resident Evil game before it. Spin-off or remake? It's still to early to say, but Dusk Golem adds that if what he has heard is true, it will "catch a lot of people off guard".

In any case, this remains a rumor for the time being.
