Bethesda has removed Denuvo from the PC version of Ghostwire: Tokyo
, by Thibaut
Around a year after its release, Ghostwire: Tokyo got a major update in April 2023. As well as adding a new roguelite mode, the Tango Gameworks title also integrated Denuvo anti-piracy technology.
According to SteamDB, the software was removed from the game on April 17 via a patch. We don't know the reasons behind this, but some are sure to appreciate it.
Denuvo is frequently criticized for its impact on game performance.
