, by Thibaut
Those who have already completed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are surely looking forward to the final installment of the trilogy. According to Tetsuya Nomura, the project is well underway.
In the guide Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania Plus, the creative director states that the script for the sequel to Rebirth is already done, and that voice recording could start pretty soon.
We also learn that the devs are planning to include something new and quite important for this third game. What's more, it wasn't in the original game released back in 1997.
Finally, producer Yoshinori Kitase adds that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth only took three years to develop, with the Episode INTERmission DLC for Final Fantasy VII Remake taking another year. Kitase explains that he intends to keep a similar pace with the last entry. It remains to be seen whether there will be a Rebirth expansion, and if it will change the schedule.
