Stellar Blade's demo is a greater hit than the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth one

It didn't turn many heads when it was announced, but Stellar Blade may end up being quite the success for Sony. Indeed, SHIFT UP's title is causing a stir among PS5 owners.
The demo launched on March 29 is a hit. According to figures published by market research provider Ampere Analysis, the trial version of Stellar Blade saw a peak of 690,000 daily players. For its part, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo had reached 380,000 users, before counting 2.2 million on the game's release. Ampere forecasts that Stellar Blade could very well unite 4 million people at launch.
On X.com, the South Korean studio responsible for the game even urges players to "go easy" on the demo, as some have already surpassed the 50 hours mark on this alone.
