Gearbox Publishing changes names to Arc Games
, by Thibaut
At the time of its takeover by Take-Two Interactive, Gearbox Software was separated from its game publishing division, while Gearbox Publishing remained under the control of the Embracer Group. This separation has led logically enough to a change of name for the organization.
Gearbox Publishing is now known as Arc Games, and it still oversees numerous licenses such as Remnant, Star Trek Online, Neverwinter and Have a Nice Death. It will also be publishing new releases such as Gigantic: Rampage Edition and Hyper Light Breaker. The latter will be presented at the Triple-i Initiative event (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/5633-the-triple-i-initiative-an-event-focusing-on-independent-games-will-take-place-on-april-10) on April 10.
