The sale of Gearbox by Embracer Group could become official in March

Embracer is continuing its streamlining operation following the failure of its $2 billion deal several months ago. The company has already sold Saber Interactive (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/5108-embracer-group-sells-saber-interactive-for-500-million) for a cool $500 million.
Soon, Gearbox will be up. Bought by Embracer in 2021 for $1.2 billion, the company responsible for Borderlands is "closer than ever to being sold", according to Kotaku. The transaction could be finalized as early as next month, although the identity of the buyer or buyers is not yet known.
