Final Fantasy XVI is expected to be released on PC... but not in 2023

Naoki Yoshida, the producer of Final Fantasy XVI, has confirmed that the game's PS5 exclusivity period is six months. However, while Yoshida has expressed enthusiasm about releasing the RPG on PC, such a version will not be released immediately.

"However, it's a different story to say that the PC version will be released at the end of the exclusivity period. Let me be clear, the PC version will not be released in six months."

Yoshida explains this decision by indicating that the development teams are already spending a lot of time optimizing the game exclusively on PS5.
