Discord will allow third-party devs to offer their games in the app

After announcing themes and avatars based on certain major video game IPs, Discord inteds to go even furhter.
The online message app has invited devs to release their games directly on Discord. Such tools will be available to creators from March 18, 2024.
In an article, the brand states that it wants to "grow into the best place for developers to do it all: build, share, distribute, be discovered, and monetize their work. We want Discord to be where your App gets its start, where it finds a home in the communities of people around the world, and where it can be easily shared between friends.”
