Dragon's Dogma 2 aims for 30 FPS on consoles

This week, the trade press was able to get up close and personal with Dragon's Dogma 2. Thanks to these previews, we've been able to obtain vital information about the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

According to IGN, Capcom's game has an unlocked framerate of 30 frames per second. This means that a loss of fluidity can be felt during sequences with numerous effects or enemies on screen. However, it is also possible to exceed the 30 FPS mark during quieter moments.

In its article, IGN estimated that Dragon's Dogma 2 averaged 31 FPS on PS5. There will be no 60 FPS performance mode at launch.
