The independent studio responsible for Saltsea Chronicles has stopped production altogether

While the biggest studios and publishers are heavily impacted by redundancies, unfortunately the smallest ones are not spared either. The fate of Danish company Die Gute Fabrik seems to be hanging by a thread.
This studio is responsible for the excellent Saltsea Chronicles launched in October 2023. They are also responsible for Mutazione and the Sportfriends too, launched in 2019 and 2014 respectively.
Sadly, the company ceased operations on February 19. It's a decision taken because of the difficulty of securing viable funds to maintain production. The studio is still looking for funding to make its next game, but in the meantime developers are being asked to find work elsewhere.
