Ubisoft president justifies Skull and Bones' full price
, by Thibaut
Given that Skull and Bones opts for a GAAS approach, some were surprised not to see it marketed as free-to-play. In fact, it's quite the opposite, costing €79.99 on consoles and around €60 on PC.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot justified this decision during the company's financial results announcement.
"You will see that Skull and Bones is a fully-fledged game. It’s a very big game, and we feel that people will really see how vast and complete that game is. It’s a really full, triple… quadruple-A game, that will deliver in the long run."
