Ubisoft disappointed with sales of Assassin's Creed Nexus VR
, by Thibaut
The virtual reality market is still rather unstable, and Ubisoft seems to have paid the price. During a Q&A session at its financial results announcement, the publisher was asked about its investments in VR.
Yves Guillemot, the company's CEO, gave his feelings on the reception of Assassin's Creed Nexus VR.
"We have been a bit disappointed by what we were able to achieve on VR with Assassin’s Creed. It did okay, and it continues to sell, but we thought it would sell more, so we are not increasing our investment on VR at the moment, because it needs to take off.. "
