Helldivers 2 gets off to a flying start on Steam, but to middling reviews

Despite a rather low-key marketing campaign, Helldivers 2 has succeeded in attracting some fans. At the time of writing, the game is the third best-selling game on Steam, even ahead of Palworld.

However, not all users are convinced by Arrowhead Game Studios' title. At present, it is only receiving "average" ratings, with only 53% of favorable opinions out of the 3,125 published.

Among the recurring criticisms are frequent crashes. Some blame them on the presence of nProtect GameGuard anti-cheat software. Server problems have also been reported.
