Lots of gameplay, a launch trailer and a demo shadowdrop for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Square Enix took advantage of a special State of Play to give us an in-depth look at the various aspects of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, to be released on PS5 on February 29, 2024.
For a good twenty minutes, we got a glimpse of the game's universe, its open world, secondary tasks, numerous mini-games, certain cinematics and even the relationships between characters. This game will also introduce dialogues with different choices, which will have an influence on Cloud's understanding with his partners.
On the visual side, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature a fidelity mode and a performance mode. The former will give us a 4K experience, while the latter will feature a 60 fps framerate.
Last but not least, a demo is available for download today on PS5. It lets you play as Cloud and Sephiroth during Nibelheim flashbacks. Later, before the game's release, an open-world section in the Junon region will be added to this same 48.64 GB demo.
