Hogwarts Legacy is the best-selling game of 2023, ahead of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo's recent financial results revealed that the latest Zelda sold 20.28 million copies last year. It's an impressive result, really, but not the best-selling title of 2023.

That award goes to Hogwarts Legacy, which climbed to 22 million units, according to Warner Bros. However, this comparison needs to be put into perspective, as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released exclusively on Switch, where Avalanche's RPG has seen the light of day on absolutely every platform.
