Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion appears to be in the final stages of development

Over the weeks, rumors have been circulating that the first major expansion to Elden Ring could be launching relatively soon. So much so, that FromSoftware is likely to announce something as early as February.

According to an update posted on SteamDB, the "Shadow of the World Tree" DLC is in its "Quality Assessment" phase. The words "qa-release", "qa-debug" or "dev-debug" have been unearthed. They simply indicate that production of the extension is entering the home stretch.
