A document dating back to 2012 reveals Microsoft's plans at the time of the Xbox One

It's always interesting to take a look into the past, especially when it comes to projects that didn't always come to fruition. This time, it's a document from Microsoft dating back to 2012 that's full of interesting information for those interested in the history of video games.

In it, we learn that the Xbox 720, which later became the Xbox One, was to be six times more powerful than the Xbox 360. Microsoft also intended to offer it at a price of $299. In addition, the console was to offer full backward compatibility with the previous console. But that's not all: the console was also to act as a hub, allowing users to cast via their phone and play mobile games on their TV.

Plans also called for a VR headset called Fortaleza which was to use 4G technology to allow gamers to enjoy Xbox games even when away from home.
