Nintendo shares hit a record high with a market capitalization of $69 billion

Everything seems to be going well for the Japanese company, which set a new record for its shares on Wednesday, reaching 7,902 yen, or $54, and propelling the company's market capitalization to 10,000 billion yen, or around $69 billion. This is the first time since 2007 that Nintendo has reached this threshold.

This performance could be attributed to a number of factors, including persistent rumors concerning the imminent launch of a new console, as well as speculation that oil funds might be ready to acquire more Japanese gaming shares.
