Lenovo presents a mouse and keyboard that can be charged by hand at CES 2024

CES is not just a place to discover the next technological releases. Among the many new products, there are also prototypes and experiments, some of them quite unusual. Such is the case with Lenovo, which is unveiling a keyboard and mouse that are most strange.

Both devices are charged manually. As with a manual dynamo mechanism, you'll need to turn a toothed wheel for the keyboard and a crank for the mouse. For the mouse, one minute of crank rotation is equivalent to 30 minutes of additional autonomy. As for the keyboard, you'll need to perform the same operation for 5 minutes to obtain an extra half-hour of autonomy.

It should be stressed that these products may never be commercialized, but this approach allows Lenovo to demonstrate its innovative capabilities and to conduct experiments.
