Embracer cuts jobs at 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks
, by Thibaut
Once again, Embracer Group has sadly announced redundancies at its studios. While the number of people affected is not known, we do know that employees at 3D Realms (Duke Nukem) and Slipgate Ironworks (co-developer of Ghostrunner) have lost their jobs.
On social networks, former employees of these firms have spoken out. Michael Markie, head composer at 3D Realms, is one of those affected. Scott Miller, the studio's founder, added that numerous redundancies had been recorded in recent days.
