The graphical improvements in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom leave much to be desired
, by Thibaut
While it is eagerly anticipated by millions of players, the next Zelda is causing some discontent among fans of the franchise. The fault lies with the graphics, which show little improvement compared to those of Breath of the Wild. And while the visual appearance of the latter could be explained by its release on the Wii U, Tears of the Kingdom will likely struggle to justify its apparent shortcomings in this regard.
In a comparison made by Gamesradar, it can be seen that the graphics have hardly changed between the two games. Only the viewing distance has been improved, although the background remains relatively blurry and lacking in detail. However, more trees and rock formations can be seen in the distance. A logical change, as there is a six-year gap between the two titles.
