Savage Game Studios, PlayStation's mobile game developer, becomes Neon Koi

In August 2022, Sony announced the acquisition of Savage Game Studios, a German firm specializing in the creation of mobile games. Following the departure of co-founder Michail Katkoff last July, the company has opted for a new identity.

Savage Game Studios is now called Neon Koi. In a press release, the studio commented on the change.

"After consideration and reflection on our values, mission, and the incredible growth we've experienced, we've decided to embrace a new identity that better aligns with our vision for the future. Neon Koi represents our culture and the passions of our game project."
