Alan Wake 2 New Game + mode available after launch

Alan Wake 2 won't feature a New Game+ mode when it launches this Friday, October 27. Instead, it will come at a later date, still to be determined by Remedy.

In this mode, which will be unlocked once the game has been completed, players will retain their weapons and upgrades. The "Nightmare" difficulty will be accessible, and an alternative story will be included. It will also feature new manuscript pages and additional video content.
