PAYDAY 3 seems to have lost a good part of its players already

The third entry in the PAYDAY franchise has been plagued by problems since its launch on September 21, with the main problem being server connection problems. As a result, players have already lost interest in the game.
In fact, the Steam version only recorded a peak of 6277 simultaneous users over the last 24 hours, quite the far cry from the 77,938 players recorded on release day.
Worse still, PAYDAY 2 did considerably better, with 55,666 people registered simultaneously on the game over the last 24 hours.
