Activision Blizzard's games will soon be playable in the cloud, via Ubisoft+
, by Thibaut
With Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard now set in stone, things are slowly falling into place, starting with the publisher's games, which will be distributed in the cloud by Ubisoft.
In order to have the acquisition approved by the British CMA, Microsoft had opted to cede the rights to the French publisher, which means that Activision Blizzard games from the next 15 years will be available via the Ubisoft+ service. This also applies to DLC. No precise date has been given for their availability, though.
Ubisoft will even have the option of releasing each game individually to other streaming platforms.
