According to a leak on the ArtStation Profile of a Lighting and Technical Artist working at Undead Labs, the game's development studio, State of Decay 3 could be released in 2027.
On this profile, he had indicated that the game would be available in 2027, though since this statement has come to the spotlight, the artist has removed this reference from his profile.
