Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: fans compare the new map with the old one

As we all know, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth promises to be massive. And thanks to some fans, we've got a better idea of how big the map will be compared to the original game.
On the ResetERA forum, they had some fun taking the old map from the original game and constrast it to the remake.
To do this, they took a screenshot during the Tokyo Game Show presentation and then highlighted the important gameplay areas. The results are striking: the playing area seems to be much, much bigger.
