Techland launches premium currency for Dying Light 2

Almost two years after its release, Dying Light 2 welcomes a "novelty" that hasn't gone down too well. Techland has rolled out a new premium currency called DL Points that can only be obtained by spending real money.

The currency in question can be used to purchase bundles and other cosmetic items. Needless to say, users were not thrilled with this announcement... So much so that Techland quickly apologized and promised that changes would soon be applied to its store.

In addition, 500 DL Points (equivalent to $4.99) are available free of charge until October 7.
