XDefiant won't be released this summer

XDefiant is set to miss this summer's release window. Ubisoft's free-to-play FPS has been delayed by a number of problems on consoles.

The game simply failed the certification tests required by Xbox and PlayStation. There appear to have been unacceptable bugs in the unlocking of trophies/achievements and the tracking of players' friends lists.

The development teams will no doubt be forced to roll out a day-one patch at launch, and if this is the case, XDefiant will not be released until October.
