Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's first beta begins on October 6

On October 5, Activision will be hosting its "Call of Duty Next" event, giving us the opportunity to learn more about the next entry in the franchise, the eagerly-awaited Modern Warfare III.

Prior to this, the American publisher has announced the dates of the first beta. The first session, which will take place on PS5 and PS4, will run from October 6 at 7pm (6pm BST / 1pm ET / 10am PT) to October 10 at the same times. PlayStation players who have not pre-ordered the game will have access to the beta from October 8.

The second session will begin on October 12 and close on October 16 (again at the same times). It will be available on all platforms, and all PlayStation users will be able to play it. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required.
