Forza Motorsport will launch without three major features

Turn 10 Studios gave us some grim news on its 'Forza Monthly' programme. The next Forza Motorsport will be stripped of certain elements when it is released on 10 October.

The studio has stated that split-screen local multiplayer, spectator mode and the ability to compete against AI-controlled drivers in multiplayer will not be included at launch.

As far as split-screen is concerned, a Turn 10 representative said that this feature represents "a heavy investment" in terms of graphics and for the title's engine. Finally, as for the other two missing elements, the developers have stated that they simply go against their overall vision for the game.
