Turn 10 Studios (Forza Motorsport) becomes Playground Games Redmond and loses its head

Following its big reset, XBOX has stripped certain studios of their substance, turning them into nothing more than empty shells. This is the case for Halo Studios, but also for Turn 10 Studios, the team that had been developing the Forza Motorsport series until now.

We learned this week from The Verge that Turn 10 has officially become Playground Games Redmond. The company will now support Playground Games (Forza Horizon, Fable) on its projects currently in production.

Additionally, Dan Greenawalt, who had led Forza Motorsport and Turn 10 for 27 years, has decided to leave. The future of the franchise seems more uncertain than ever.
