Baldur's Gate 3 is (so far) better rated than Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The third instalment in the Baldur's Gate saga has been both a commercial and critical success. Indeed, the title from Larian Studios has achieved the feat of obtaining even better scores than the iconic The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Baldur's Gate 3** currently boasts a Metacritic average of 97%, compared with the 96% for the last Zelda to date. However, it's worth pointing out that the Switch exclusive's average is based on 145 tests, while the new** Baldur's Gate** has just 18.

So we'll have to wait a few days before we can consider the recently-released PC RPG to be the best-rated game of the year.
