Crossover between Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy XIV announced

Producer and director Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that a crossover between the saga's fourteenth and sixteenth entries is planned and expected to be fully announced at the end of the year.

What's more, work on this new content has already begun. The partnership could see Clive, the hero of Final Fantasy XVI, arrive in the MMORPG while elements from Final Fantasy XIV could be added to the latest entry in the franchise.
