Due to censorship, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 may be delayed in the Middle East

Launched last month, pre-orders for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 are not yet available everywhere with several Middle Eastern countries still out of it for the time being.

The release date, set worldwide for October 20, 2023, is still not defined in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The classification of Insomniac Games' title has also been withdrawn.

Rumors have it that those countries wish to censor certain aspects of the game in order to respect local customs and ideologies. Nevertheless, this information has not yet been confirmed.
