Capcom acquires Swordcanes, the studio behind Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy XVI

Here comes a new acquisition in the video game industry! It's a far cry from an Activision Blizzard-style takeover, but Capcom has decided to acquire Swordcanes Studio.

Little known to the general public, this company has supported the development of several major projects in recent years such as Final Fantasy XVI, Hi-Fi Rush and Street Fighter 6.

Swordcanes specializes in 3D character modeling, 3D environments and 2D and 3D animation.
