Microsoft has just shown a new version of the XBOX app for PC. XBOX Insider members can try out this update right now.

The American company promises an app that’s up to 60% faster. For example, the Home, Store, and Game Pass pages load up to 50% faster. Embedded windows open up to 65% faster. The library is also easier to use thanks to improved navigation, filters, and new ways to organize games. The overall look is cleaner, search has been improved, and it’s easier to contact friends.

In addition, the XBOX web experience has been redesigned. All cloud games are now in one place, the overall display has been improved, and customization options (dark mode, contrast, etc.) are included.

Finally, Microsoft is rolling out a new interface and redesigned navigation for the XBOX Cloud Gaming apps on TVs and virtual reality headsets.

We’re making XBOX on Windows faster and more responsive. Starting today, we’re rolling out updates that make our app up to 60% faster. A meaningful improvement, with plenty more to do. pic.twitter.com/h5kzHSpR8H
