The early access for Beautiful Light has been delayed to the third quarter of 2027

Deep Worlds SA has just announced a significant delay for its horror PvPvPvE extraction shooter. In fact, Beautiful Light was originally scheduled to launch its Early Access on PC this coming December.

Unfortunately, a delay of nearly a year has been announced. The game will now make its debut on PCs in the third quarter of 2027. In a post on social media, the studio explained that the game still needs some fine-tuning, and that the imminent release of GTA VI played a role in this decision.

Furthermore, the latest playtest also revealed that additional time was needed before launching Beautiful Light. The developers want to better balance the playable anomalies, add mercenary contracts, and include more enemy NPCs. Performance on low-spec PCs will be optimized, and additional items, weapons, and gameplay variations will be added. A third map is also in the works.

Finally, a free closed playtest will be held on December 26, 27, and 28, 2026.
