The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel won't likely come out before 2029

Announced in June 2018 via a very brief teaser, The Elder Scrolls VI finally made headlines again this week. Now known as “Sentinel,” the sixth installment in the RPG series is not expected to be released for quite some time.
In its press release, Bethesda was quite clear in stating that development is ongoing, but that it will take "some time before we’re ready to share more." Later, Jason Schreier, a reporter at Bloomberg, provided further clarification.
On Bluesky, Schreier added that The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel is more than two years away from release. As such, it likely won’t be released before 2029 at the earliest. Schreier also noted that the title was announced so early because Bethesda Game Studios wanted to reassure its fans after unveiling its first multiplayer game: Fallout 76. Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI were announced simultaneously at E3 2018 to let players know that other single-player projects were in the works.
