A new report published by The Verge reveals that Xbox (or Microsoft) is expected to announce the next installment in the The Elder Scrolls franchise as early as next month.
The game will likely be titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, and its announcement could very well be scheduled for November 11, which marks the 15th anniversary of the legendary The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The game is said to be set in Hammerfell, a region that previously appeared in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall among others, and is expected to delve into the mysteries and stories of the franchise’s previous installments. If these details prove to be true, they would align with one of the popular theories suggesting that the story takes place in Ilicia Bay.
The information in this news report should, of course, be taken with a grain of salt.
