Left 4 Dead gets a new patch to fix remote code execution vulnerabilities

Valve has released a new update for Left 4 Dead. 18 years after its launch, the coop FPS is getting a patch that improves its security.

The developers say they have fixed several crash bugs and remote code execution vulnerabilities. Previously, malicious users could, for example, use Left 4 Dead’s multiplayer servers to execute malicious code on other players’ computers.

Thus, the gaming experience should be more secure from now on.
