The Switch 2 Lite could cost less than $300 and feature a 7.1-inch screen

Last week, we got the first rumors about a possible Switch 2 Lite surfaced. They mentioned the use of Samsung’s 8LPU+, which is more powerful and energy-efficient.

Now, even more interesting details may have been leaked. For example, the device could be equipped with a 7.1-inch screen (instead of the 7.9-inch screen on the standard Switch 2). The 1080p resolution is expected to remain the same. Keep in mind that, like the Switch Lite, this lighter model will likely be portable only and cannot be connected to a TV.

Also, the price of this Switch 2 Lite could be set at just $299. In Europe, it’s expected to include a removable battery to comply with a law that will take effect in 2027. Of course, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt, since Nintendo hasn’t announced anything on the matter yet.
